It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life—work deadlines, bills to pay, children to raise, and plans to make. Yet Paul reminds us that as believers, our perspective must rise higher. We are called to live with eternity in mind.

Think of Moses. He had the wealth and privileges of Egypt at his fingertips, but he chose to identify with God’s people, looking ahead to the reward (Hebrews 11:24–26). Moses understood that earthly treasures are temporary, but the reward of following God is eternal.
