As we live our lives of faith, we may be surrounded by a large crowd or a small group of trusted companions. Whatever the size of our community, we are born with a need to walk this road of life with fellow travelers. We need to “go with” others on the path we have been set upon by what we had learned. We are empowered by those who walk with us, be it family, or close sincere friends. Paul had left Timothy in Ephesus to help the church there. I understand that the idea was to help the church… but I think Timothy ended up being the main leader of the church in Ephesus.
