We all like habits! We are more comfortable in predictive environments - and our brains seek this certainty. We are actually "wired" this way, which is why it is sometimes so hard to create and sustain new habits. It is, however, possible to pull off if you know the science behind teh idea nd how to use it in your favor. 

Have you ever heard this phrase? Or maybe even used it... once or twice? So often I hear this phrase from people that recognize a gap between where they are and where they want to be in a particular area. They know they want to make a change but typically haven't been able to make it so.  When I question what's holding them back their answer invariably starts, "Well, I just need to...". And THAT is a bunch of bullshit! Listen in as I explain why you MUST get this language out of your vernacular if you want to make change on command. 

Yeah I know, you're "goal oriented". And maybe you are! But until you have a specific process to create CLARITY & CERTAINTY about what you want, why you want it, what you get by getting what you want, and how you're going to get it all you have are "hopes and prayers". Fine for politicians, but worthless for a committed, action taking professional bent on being more every day! Listen in on the basic, the "101" level, of setting real goals and creating the power to hit them!

Simply put, you don't know what you don't know. And the sooner you can get around your Ego and admit you don't "know it all" the sooner you can begin to expand the possibilities in your life. If you are living a life without any fear you are not "fearless", you're actually paralyzed by fear and living too safely! Until you recognize fear and discomfort as a signal for you to act you are allowing fear to steer you in the wrong direction!

Well I don't mean in terms of physically afraid ( I hope) I mean in terms of having real conversations and your fear of the consequences. If you've said, "I don't even want to hear it", "Let's not get started down that road" or "Every time we talk you ______ " then YOU ARE AFRAID OF YOUR WIFE! It's that simple - WORDS MATTER! The words you read, the words you hear, you words you think AND the words you say! Moreover, the more we communicate electronically rather than face to face our words become even more important and the physical ques aren't available.
