Most of us are probably very grateful for the warning we now get on our phones when we get a spam call. We happily ignore those, but what do we do when our conscience calls? In our passage today from Mark 6:14–29, we follow the tragic story of a man, Herod, who ignored his conscience time and time again, until he could no longer hear it. From this, we'll learn that if your conscience is calling, it is no spam call, pick up!

Many speak of having faith, but what does that look like in practice? How can we find faith, and how can we grow in faith? Jesus explains four different types of soil and how they each react differently to the Word of God. The question for us is, how's your soil?

Belonging and identity are interrelated. Who we belong to says something about who we are. In this message from Mark 3:20–35, misunderstandings regarding Jesus identity lead to the question: who does Jesus belong to? We'll then see Jesus make a stunning statement regarding who his true family is, which answers the second important question: who belongs to Jesus?

What is discipleship? In short, it's the lifelong journey of following Jesus. But how do we do that? What specifically does that look like? In this message from Mark 3:7–19, we'll see a wrong approach to discipleship demonstrated in the crowd, and the correct approach that Jesus himself calls us to, demonstrated in the twelve apostles.
