This Poddy starts with a discussion about where Scotty's new morning show friend Liz has been, and he also catches up with Tim Hickman from Mizzou to find out the latest on concerts and the touring industry. As you might imagine, except for hope, not much.

Halle has a song (Pick Me Up) climbing the Country charts, and a video on CMT, and she was born & raised in CoMo! Liz (of "Liz & Scotty In the Morning") joins Scotty to talk with Halle about her time in mid-Missouri and what life is like for someone trying to make it in Country Music!

Liz & Scotty also discuss the commitment required, financial and otherwise, to be a bridesmaid these days!

Scotty's new morning show co-host, Liz Duesenberg, sits down to talk about how she got from Nashville, where she was born, to Clear 99. A couple of highlights...her Mom babysat the kid of a Country star, and her great-great grandfather invented something really famous!

Scotty shares a couple of special Garth Brooks visits...one from 2007 as he came out of retirement, and one from 2018 the morning after the CMA Award Show.

This visit with Luke was just after his first ACM nomination, and just before his show at The Blue Note in March of 2010.

Scotty shares an interview with FGL from 2012 before they BLEW UP! The song "Cruise", which went on to be the best-selling digital Country song of all time, had just been released, and they were about to go out on their first big-time tour, with Luke Bryan.

After trying to avoid the news and racial strife that was going on in our nation last weekend, I woke up with some thoughts on race & equality from my own heart. It's not pretty, but I felt like I should share it. I also recommend the book "Under Our Skin" by Benjamin Watson.

Before the big time, Kay was a University of Missouri student and worked with Scotty at Clear 99 and the Zimmer Radio Group of Columbia, MO. She and Scotty talk about her time in "CoMo", in NYC, and the NFL, including local fave the Kansas City Chiefs.
