Liz Votaw is an Authentication and Identity thought leader in the financial services industry with over 25 years of leadership experience at some of the country's largest financial institutions. While leading Consumer Authentication at Bank of America and Wells Fargo, Liz sat on the FIDO Alliance board from 2014 to 2021, and was one of the original founders of the Better Identity Coalition. While at Bank of America, she led the first implementation of FIDO at a major financial institution. Having recently left Wells Fargo, Liz will now provides authentication and identity consulting to companies across multiples industries.
Liz has an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland. She is an inventor/co-inventor on over 100 granted patents.
