Liz Worrell's Story 

My late husband was admitted to Hospice on Nov. 2nd 2016 & passed away the following evening.  Our time spent at Hospice was like a gift.  He was so well & compassionately taken care of.  His comfort was first & foremost.  My daughter & I were able to spend the night by his side.  Our family of 9 were treated with respect & dignity by caring staff & volunteers.  

I hadn’t really heard much about Hospice until my husband was a resident, but as a result of being there for a short period I knew I wanted to be a part of such a  warm caring place.  I am now proud to be a volunteer at Hospice Simcoe.
