Alright, so I had time to fill in my schedule this past Saturday. So here's a few quick demos of games I personally enjoyed. Allow me to link their steam store pages for you. And no, not sponsored, just enjoying these games.
First off is the Adventures of Sir Kicksalot. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2629230/The_Adventures_of_Sir_Kicksalot/ One of those 1st person sort of RPGs where you have all your usually spells and weapons, but also a designated kick button. Good humor, charming easy to render graphics, and open ended level design makes it so you can take any approach to winning. I just winged it once I left the tutorials though, did alright though.
Dead As Disco is the second one I checked this stream, https://store.steampowered.com/app/3404260/Dead_as_Disco/ not released yet, but boy howdy is the demo fun. One part Hi-Fi Rush, one part Devil May Cry, one Part probably some other action game. Fun fact, you can play by adding your own music too, not that the game has bad music or anything.
Then there's Secret Agent Wizard Boy and the International Crime Syndicate, https://store.steampowered.com/app/3111080/Secret_Agent_Wizard_Boy_and_the_International_Crime_Syndicate/ It may sound like a shitpost meant to mock a certain evil author's wizard book series, because it kind of is. Made like those old Harry Potter games on PC back in the day, it's just the right kind of jank to be fun. This one's actually got a full release, and I only had the demo at time of stream. Go give it a shot, it doesn't an evil person.
And the final game is Aeromachina: Test Flight https://store.steampowered.com/app/3744860/AEROMACHINA_TestFlight/ This one's special as it's not just a demo of an upcoming indie game, it's a prologue to it as well. Fun platforming, cool combat (especially once upgraded) and a charming low poly aesthetic, this game is worth checking out whatever you're into. It's advertised as a 3D Metroidvania, and they seem to know what they're doing in that regard. Give it a look.
