Lizette was born in Mexico, and started her yoga journey while living in Madrid. After taking her first Yoga TT in USA 2010, she moved to Stockholm with her now-husband to finally open their yoga studio Hot Yoga Uppsala in Uppsala, Sweden, in 2011. Her teaching style incorporates strength and functional movement in different ways; she likes to integrate kettlebells and weights into the practice to build stronger bodies that are more resilient to stress and injuries. Empowering women through yoga and movement is an ongoing theme for Lizette.
