The term "self-care' is thrown around a lot lately, and there is so much research out there that shows how important it is that we take care of ourselves in order to better take care of the world and those people that we love around us.
I know how hard it can be to actually do it and actually take that self-care. You might be a young mom and have little ones and every time you step away all you do is miss them. Or money might be tight in your life and taking self-care just makes you feel guilty even more so because you know how much your family is pinching those pennies!
You could even be at a place in life where you're achieving a lot and want to do a lot, and anytime you step away and slow down you start to hear that negative voice in your head that tells you to keep moving and grooving and working towards your goals and that you're even being lazy by taking self-care.
