A few weeks ago, I was having some really hard days. I had a marketing campaign that did NOT go my way. I ended up losing money on it. It stunk big time.

While sometimes things don’t work in entrepreneurship (or in life!), it really put me in a funk. Life felt heavy and hard. I felt so sad and disappointed. Time seemed to go by so slowly because I just wanted the ickiness to go away but, it wouldn’t.

Luckily, I knew the steps on how to pull myself out of this funk so that I could get back to loving life again. I predict had I not known or done these steps, I would probably STILL be feeling icky today which would make me less productive and lose valuable time in life!

There’s nothing worse to me than feeling icky and not knowing how to overcome it. I spent SO many years of my life feeling that way. And, let me tell you, it STUNK! It made life feel heavy, hard, uneventful, unproductive and sometimes hopeless. I felt like the life I wanted for myself was just out of reach but, I didn’t know how to grab it. I felt stuck and I hated every second of it.

I’m SOOO grateful that I now know the steps on how to overcome crappy times. I’m certain that because of knowing and using these steps, it allows me to continue on a pathway for greatness and living a life I love!

Regardless of where you are on creating or living a life YOU love, you’re going to have hard days.

Because, I hate to break it to you but, having a life you love does NOT mean having a perfect life.

Having a life you love to me means that you know who you are (and love yourself!), know how to get what you want from life (and go after it!) and know how to overcome crappiness so you can have more happiness.

Having a life you love does NOT mean that you will be happy 24/7 and that you won’t have hard times or have moments that feel icky. While we can learn the tools and strategies to diminish crappy feelings, they won’t go away fully. This I know can be discouraging to hear but, remember this....we wouldn’t know light without dark, we wouldn’t know warmth without cold and we wouldn’t know happiness without crappiness.

Having crappiness (aka: hard days) is just part of the human experience. To diminish the impact these hard days have on us, we MUST know the steps on how to overcome it so that it DOESN’T weigh us down for a long time and we can get back onto the pathway for rocking and loving our life.
