We’re talking about a topic today on the show that I’m SUPER excited to share with you: self-sabotage! Self-Sabotage is something that comes up for ALL of my clients at some point in their journey in working with me. Until we learn how to train our brain NOT to sabotage ourselves, we are self-sabotaging ALL the flippin’ time!!! Seriously - all the time! For some people they may be self-sabotaging all day, every day!!!

It’s crazy and oh-so sad for me to hear about the extremes of self-sabotage behavior. Like people who weight hundreds of pounds overweight and they can’t leave their bed. People who are addicted to drugs or alcohol and lost their job, their friendships, their family in the process. People who even do horrible, unthinkable things like murder, cheat and steal.

I must admit I used to judge those people so harshly. I would think things like, "WTF is wrong with you! How disgusting! Pull your life together. You’re a bad person."

Now, I know better. I know how our brains can sabotage and convince us to do things that harm us even when we know deep down we don’t want to do those things. I’ve had SO much experience with self-sabotage in my own life and feel like I’ve become quite a pro at helping others deal with their own self-sabotage.

I’ve seen over time in my work as a Life Coach AND as a human being the patterns of those who self-sabotage. I’ve found that we don’t have to have extreme setbacks in life to have self-sabotaging behavior! There’s little things we do every day that hold us back.

The funny thing with self-sabotage is that many times we don’t even know that we’re flippin’ doing it to ourselves. We walk around thinking we have bad luck, something wasn’t meant to be, we blame others, or worse yet, think we aren’t worthy or deserving or feel enough to have what we want from life.

Today, I want to give you clarity if you’re self-sabotaging in life. I’m going to ask you 8 questions for you to answer honestly so that you can know with certainty where you’re self-sabotaging in your life b/c with that awareness it will be HUGE as I teach you about mental mind blocks in the upcoming episodes.

Awareness is ALWAYS the first step to change. Always!
