So, you think LLMs are just gonna write code for you, eh? Like some kind of digital fairy godmother? I tried that. Spoiler alert - it's not a magic trick. I took an old gamebook and tried to turn it into a web app using LLMs. I learned a thing or two. Turns out, you can't just throw prompts at these things and expect gold. You need a plan. Architecture matters. Code reviews are, well, still a thing. And those LLMs? They don't always get it right. The real deal? It's a mix. Some open source, some from the big guys. It's about working with them, not expecting them to do it all. Craftsmanship still has a place in this world, even with all these fancy new toys.
