Carl Barton has practiced law for 28 years.  He is currently a partner at Holland & Hart LLP in Salt Lake City, specializing in commercial real estate.  His extensive experience includes the acquisition, development, entitlement, financing, leasing, exchange, and sale of large-scale retail, office, multi-family residential, resort, and energy projects, including all land use and water rights aspects of such transactions.  He spent eight years in Paris and Brussels.  He currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, has two accomplished sons, and has a passion for "building things."
