Today we got word from the Imperial CollegeLondon that their previous projections for massive infection and deathrates were … well … wrong.Oops.Yes, Neil Ferguson, the infectious disease expert from Imperial CollegeLondon admitted today that his model for projecting virus infection anddeath rates was wrong and that the actual numbers would end up being avery small fraction of the original projections.This does not in any way diminish the fact that so many lives have beenlost, but it’s also welcome news to a planet that had been hoardingtoilet paper and other goods in total fear of what was coming. Now, wecan breathe free again.Also, a Swiss doctor who researched the situation in Italy reportedthat, contrary to what the major media have been reporting, nearlyeveryone succumbing to the disease were elderly with multiplepreexisting conditions of one kind or another.
