According to the latest data published by Eskom, the state-owned utility’s forecast shows that there is a high-risk probability of load shedding, every week for the next three months. Eskom announced this year that load shedding is expected to continue as power demand exceeds supply and more downtime is needed for overdue maintenance of the system.
