Sometime in October 2019, the United States slammed a 25% tariff on wines coming in from specific countries in Europe and this threatened the survival of small businesses in the wine import industry. Alexi Cashen’s Elenteny Imports is one of them. The business recorded a 30% dip in shipping revenue within 10 days.
