I was joined by Brooke Leigh as we spoke with Central Washington's finest, Randy Keener. Randy is a dietitian who works for the state of Washington in their WIC program. He discusses the systemic problems with our food system and he described his experience being turned down by the state to be funded for a raw milk study. Randy also explains how he became disenfranchised with his military experience while serving overseas after studying the history of western colonialism. He also talked about his passion for mushrooms and how important they are to our eco systems.
