Candidates representing the main parties in this week's District Council elections take questions from Shine Radio listeners.

On the panel are Howard Linsley for Labour, Julie Butler of the Conservative Party, David Podger who is standing for the Liberal Democrats and James Hogan of the Green party.

Claire Vennis hosts the programme which was recorded before a live audience at the TPS Studio.

Correction: one candidate suggested during the programme that members of the South Downs National Park Authority committees are unelected. In reality the process is more complicated than that. Representatives are selected by and drawn from elected members who serve on parish, town and the district councils. Shine Radio is happy to clarify that point of fact.
