Mayfield Messenger Sports Reporter Eric Walker chats with Matt Schorr about small town sports and the almost mythical figures it creates. Eric was able to witness firsthand Mayfield High School's historic basketball season this year, not to mention the how the town's cultural identity is almost totally wrapped up in its football team. Naturally, the conversation eventually turns to one of Mayfield's all-time biggest legendary figures -- Coach Paul Leahy.

It's not all footballs and rainbows, however. Eric also recalls the time he was called upon to shoot police photos at a crime scene for local police, recalling the sights, sounds and ... unfortunately ... smells.
