We sit down and talk with John Sinkevics, editor and publisher of LocalSpins.com music website and host of the weekly Local Spins radio show on WYCE (88.1).  John brings a wealth of knowledge with his 3+ decades of covering the local music scene in West Michigan.  So much that we broke our interview with him into two separate episodes.  In this first side of the interview, we talk about John's background and history in the Michigan music scene.  In addition, we touch on music festivals in the state and albums vs. singles.
