After undergoing radical changes in 2016, The Raquels came onto the Columbus scene with a brand and creative vision ready to go. Their rise in the Columbus scene over the past two years has been accompanied by a massive summer tour, appearances at many prominent local venues, and several single releases throughout 2017 and 2018.
Perhaps the catchiest of these releases, "Two Fingers" embodies the uncertainty of starting a new phase in one's life and the constant emotion it brings. In this episode, Raquels frontman Derrick Walters chronicles his writing process and deeply-layered production techniques for one of his most personal tracks.
