Black Lives Matter protests erupted throughout the nation in the wake of George Floyd’s murder by Minneappolis police. Members of the local community have responded in different ways. Some attended protests while others formed memorials to honor the innocent lives taken by police. The ripples from George Floyd’s death have reached Davis and many Davis citizens have worked and are working to publicly voice their support for the Black Lives Matter movement
