If TikTok has taught us anything lately, it’s that we’re in our Great Lock-In Era. For the rest of Q4, gone are the days of glamorizing burnout or constantly being outside — the girls are cozying up, building businesses from their laptops, stacking soft money, and prioritizing discipline over distractions.

But here’s the tea: locking in isn’t easy. It’s lonely, sometimes, it can be demanding, and it requires saying “no” way more than “yes.” 

So… what does it really look like to be in your lock-in season? How do you know when it’s time to tune the world out and bet on your grind? And can you lock in without losing yourself? Is this “great lock-in” just for show?
