Logan-Rogersville Wildcats at Mt. Vernon Mountaineers - September 25, 2020
PGR contributor Peyton Williams caught up with Logan-Rogersville's head coach Mark Talbert to get his thoughts following the Wildcats' incredible fourth quarter rally to knock of the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers by a final score of 29-23. The Panthers scored 22 points in the final eight minutes of play to secure the victory and improve to 3-2 on the season.
Logan-Rogersville scored the game-winning touchdown on a four-yard run by Bergman with less than 20 seconds to play. A failed two-point conversion meant the Panthers would only go on to win by six, 29-23.
The Panthers now sit at 3-2 as they return home next week. The Fighting Irish of Springfield Catholic will come town, one of the state's top-tier programs.
