Every once and a while I will get a response from a vegan or vegetarian about my views on meat eating. Sometimes if they are an anarchist themselves, they make the case for extending the NAP to animals as well. While I respect their dietary choices, I do not agree with this idea that we can view animals as moral agents. Not only that, but the fact that we have big enough brains to understand these concepts and discuss them in the first place is thanks, in part, to meat eating.
