Mike works as a theologian, Bible teacher and pastoral therapist. He completed his interdisciplinary PhD at Stellenbosch University in 2012 on “Epistemology (the science of truth) and the use of Scripture in pastoral care and counselling.”

As a registered pastoral therapist, he specializes in marriage and sex therapy but also helps individuals generally to achieve understanding, integration, freedom and mastery in key areas of life.

He has a passion for the church and strives to communicate Spirit-filled, foundational truths to equip all followers of Jesus to understand and live out their communal identity as the beloved Bride of Christ in the real world.

He has been deeply blessed in his thirty-year marriage to Heidi and has two adult daughters.
