Phil grew up in Hanson, MA. At the time of the recording he is 40-years-old. Phil got clean on Feb. 7, 2007. He started his journey at Brockton Highpoint Treatment Center and followed-up at The South Shore House, a halfway house in Quincy, MA. Phil said, "If I stay on the path I am on, I will never use again, Thank God!"
