Raised in Dartmouth, MA, Angelica comes from a long line of addicts and alcoholics. She spent the majority of time growing up in foster care but was then raised by her single dad who was in recovery. She started doing drugs at the age of 12. By the age of 19 she was a full-blown heroin addict. Although she went through many programs and detoxes, she continued her active addiction, having 3 children along the way. In November of 2015 Angelica went to the Plymouth House in New Hampshire where her journey into real recovery began. She now says, "I am at peace."
