Shannon Burke grew up in Braintree and was raised by a single mom. Shannon's dad had left home due to the disease of Alcoholism. Shannon is sober as of 2015 and is now a recovery coach and very active in AA. Shannon is also currently a graduate student at Simmons studying nutrition and has been a fitness coach, bodybuilder and marathoner. Her dad has 30 plus years of sobriety and is at Gavin House, helping others.
