Some people describe loneliness like an undercurrent, travelling across different seasons in life. It’s faint at some points and more pronounced at others.
Today, we’re talking about loneliness with Dr. Sam Carr. Dr. Carr is a researcher in the Department of Education at the University of Bath. He was the principal investigator of The Loneliness Project, a qualitative project that explored how elderly people experience loneliness. Dr. Carr is also the author of the book, All the Lonely People: Conversations on Loneliness.
We’ll talk about what loneliness is, why it’s associated with so much stigma and how we can learn to be with our loneliness.
Thanks for being here. Have another emotion you’re interested in learning about? Reach out, I’d love to hear from you…
