Listen Later

Hey wave riders and coastal adventurers! Winter's got some serious attitude brewing along the Oregon and Washington coastlines today.

Long Beach and the Washington coast are looking at solid 6 to 9 foot surf today with a west swell running a sweet 5 feet at 15 seconds. Temperatures hovering around a chilly 40 degrees with southeast winds cranking at 20 miles per hour. Get ready for cloudy skies and a high chance of getting wet - and we're not just talking about the ocean!

Heading south to Seaside and Cannon Beach, you'll see similar conditions with 6 to 9 foot waves and that same persistent west swell. Expect east winds dancing between 18 to 24 miles per hour and temperatures staying in the low 40s. Rain's definitely on the menu today.

For our Lincoln City surfers and coastal enthusiasts, things are about to get interesting. Surf's stepping up to 7 to 10 foot swells with a west wave running 6 feet at 15 seconds. Temperatures nudging toward 45 with southeast winds around 14 miles per hour.

But hold onto your boards because tomorrow's forecast is seriously epic! We're talking 10 to 14 foot waves across all regions with offshore swells pushing 9 to 10 feet. Winds will calm down and temperatures will creep up slightly.

Critical warning - these waters are not for the faint of heart. Cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are real threats. Always stay vigilant and respect the ocean's power. Stay safe out there wave warriors!
