Long Beach Washington and Portland, OR Surf Report for 02-22-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, wave riders and coastal adventurers! Today's coastal conditions are serving up some serious maritime drama along the Pacific Northwest shoreline.

We're looking at massive swells ranging from 11 to 16 feet with offshore waves packing serious punch - think 12 to 14 foot rollers coming in at 14 to 15 second intervals. These aren't your gentle summer waves these are heavyweight oceanic monsters.

Washington's Long Beach zone is expecting southeast winds ramping up from 11 to 18 miles per hour with mostly cloudy skies and rain. Temperatures hovering around a chilly 50 to 55 degrees mean you'll want your wetsuit and some serious neoprene protection.

Oregon's coastal regions are telling a similar story. Seaside and Cannon Beach are anticipating 12 to 16 foot surf today escalating to 14 to 18 feet by Saturday. Northwest and west swells will be charging in with serious maritime attitude.

For our Lincoln City and Manzanita beach warriors expect slightly smaller but still impressive 11 to 15 foot surf today climbing to 12 to 17 feet tomorrow. Wind speeds will be cranking up to 23 miles per hour with cloudy conditions and intermittent rain.

Critical safety warning - these aren't playground waves. Cold water sneaker waves and rip currents are seriously dangerous. Stay vigilant watch those waves and respect the ocean's power. This isn't a day for casual beach strolling - this is pure Pacific Northwest maritime intensity.

Stay safe surf enthusiasts and coastal lovers. Mother Nature is putting on her wildest performance today.
