Surf Report - Portland Oregon

Long Beach Washington and Portland, OR Surf Report for 03-11-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, wave riders! The Pacific Northwest coast is serving up some serious swell action today. We're looking at robust 7 to 10-foot waves rolling in with a powerful west and northwest offshore swell running 7 to 8 feet at an impressive 12 to 13 second interval.

Long Beach and Seaside are priming for a moody maritime day with mostly cloudy skies and a slight whisper of potential rain. Temperatures will hover in the crisp 45 to 50-degree range, with gentle southwest winds barely kissing 2 to 3 miles per hour.

Tide enthusiasts take note: we've got some dynamic water movement today. Morning low tides bottom out around 3.3 to 3.8 feet, with high tides climbing to a robust 8 to 8.6 feet. Lincoln City is showing the most dramatic surf height potential at 8 to 11 feet - definitely one for the adventure seekers.

Tuesday's forecast brings slightly mellower conditions with surf dropping to 6 to 9 feet. Expect increasing southerly winds and a higher chance of rain sweeping across the coastline.

But listen up, beach lovers - this isn't just another surf report. The coast demands respect. Cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are real threats. Those deceptive waves can surge far beyond expectations, creating dangerous conditions in an instant.

Stay alert, watch the water, and remember: nature calls the shots out here. Whether you're a seasoned surfer or a curious beach wanderer, always maintain situational awareness.

Stay stoked and stay safe out there, coastal warriors!
