Listen Later

Surf's up, coastal thrill-seekers! The Pacific Northwest is serving up some serious wave action today. We're looking at massive surf heights ranging from 11 to 16 feet along the Washington and Oregon coastlines, so buckle up for an epic marine adventure.

Long Beach and the Washington coast are bracing for southwest swells hitting a solid 12 feet at 11 seconds, with winds howling around 23 miles per hour. Expect cloudy conditions with rain likely and temperatures hovering around a crisp 50 degrees. Those tides are gonna be dramatic - we're talking high tides reaching 8.4 feet this morning and again this evening.

Moving down to Seaside and Cannon Beach, the scene gets even more intense. West swells are charging in at 12 feet with 12-second intervals, promising some serious wave action. Southwest winds around 20 miles per hour will keep things spicy, and rain showers are definitely on the menu.

For our friends in Manzanita, Rockaway Beach, and Pacific City, the surf report continues the maritime mayhem. Southwest swells are rolling in at 12 feet, with cloudy skies and rain creating that classic Oregon coastal atmosphere. Winds will be whipping around 20 miles per hour, making for some truly dramatic oceanfront conditions.

Lincoln City rounds out our coastal forecast with similar epic conditions - 11 to 15 foot swells and southwest winds keeping things wild.

But here's the critical warning: these waters are not for the faint of heart. Cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are serious business. Those unexpected waves can catch even experienced beach-goers off guard. Stay alert, stay smart, and respect the ocean's power.

Sunrise comes early at 7:15, sunset at 7:30 - plenty of daylight to witness nature's raw power. Stay safe out there, wave warriors!
