Surf Report - Portland Oregon

Long Beach Washington and Portland, OR Surf Report for 03-24-2025

Listen Later

Surfers and beach lovers, buckle up for a wild ride along the Pacific Northwest coastline! Today's surf scene is pure adrenaline with monster waves ranging from 9 to 14 feet hammering the shores of Long Beach, Seaside, and Lincoln City.

West swells are cranking at an impressive 7 to 9 feet with long 15-second periods, guaranteeing some epic wave action. Southwest and south swells are adding extra punch to the mix, creating a playground for experienced wave riders.

Winds are going to be your dance partner today - southwestern gusts blowing between 21 to 27 miles per hour will keep things spicy. Expect mostly cloudy skies with consistent rain dropping temperatures between 50 and 55 degrees. Not exactly tropical, but true Pacific Northwest style!

Tidal movements are looking dynamic with significant range - low tides dipping down to just over 1 foot and high tides climbing to nearly 8 feet. Sunrise hits around 7:11 AM with sunset following at 7:33 PM, giving you plenty of daylight for ocean adventures.

But listen up - this isn't a playground for the faint-hearted. Cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are serious business. Those unexpected waves can catch you off guard faster than you can say "wipeout". Stay alert, respect the ocean, and never turn your back on these powerful waters.

Monday's forecast looks slightly mellower with surf heights dropping to 7-11 feet and winds calming down, but the excitement remains. Stay stoked, stay safe, and may the waves be ever in your favor!
