Listen Later

Surf's up, beach lovers! Get ready for a wild ride along the Oregon and Washington coastline. Today's looking like a classic Pacific Northwest adventure with some serious wave action brewing.

We're tracking massive swells hitting 10 to 14 feet - that's some serious oceanic power coming your way! Expect west and northwest offshore swells rolling in at an impressive 10 feet with 14-second intervals. Translation: these are going to be some epic, powerful waves that'll make even experienced surfers take notice.

The weather's keeping things interesting with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers. There's even a slight chance of thunderstorms, so keep your weather eyes open. Temperatures will hover around a crisp 50 to 55 degrees, so grab that wetsuit and some warm layers.

Winds are coming in strong from the southwest at 16 to 17 miles per hour, which means some serious chop and challenging conditions for water enthusiasts. Southwest winds will intensify to 23 miles per hour by Tuesday, so prepare for some serious maritime drama.

Tides are doing their dramatic dance today - we've got low tides ranging from 0.4 to 3.7 feet and high tides climbing to 7.5 feet. Sunrise comes at 6:42 AM and sunset drops at 7:54 PM, giving you plenty of daylight to enjoy the coastal spectacle.

But here's the serious warning - cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are no joke. These ocean conditions can be unpredictable and dangerous. Stay alert, watch those waves carefully, and respect the ocean's power. Those surprise waves can catch even seasoned beach-goers off guard.

Stay safe, stay stoked, and enjoy the raw beauty of the Pacific Northwest coastline!
