Surf Report - Portland Oregon

Long Beach Washington and Portland, OR Surf Report for 06-14-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, wave riders! Get ready for a coastal adventure along the Pacific Northwest shoreline. Today's forecast is bringing some serious wave action with surf heights ranging from 5 to 8 feet along the Washington and Oregon coasts.

Long Beach and Seaside are looking at a northwest swell pushing 5-foot waves at 8 seconds, with a bonus southwest swell of 2 feet at 14 seconds. Manzanita, Rockaway Beach, and Lincoln City are expecting similar conditions - solid 5 to 7-foot waves rolling in.

The weather's keeping things moody with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures hovering around a crisp 55 to 60 degrees. Winds will be blowing northwest at 10 to 13 miles per hour, adding some texture to those breaks.

Tide hunters, listen up! We've got some impressive tidal ranges today. Expect high tides around 8.6 feet in the early morning, dropping to lows near negative 1.4 feet by mid-morning. Afternoon will bring another high tide around 6.7 feet.

Saturday's looking like a slightly mellower day, with surf heights dropping to 4 to 6 feet. The northwest swell will calm down to 4-foot waves, but the stoke remains high.

Critical safety alert: Our coastal waters are no joke. Cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are real threats. Those unexpected waves can catch you off guard faster than you can say "wipeout". Stay alert, keep your eyes on the water, and respect the ocean's power.

Sunrise kicks off at 5:24 AM, with sunset painting the sky around 9:09 PM. So whether you're a seasoned surfer or a beach enthusiast, today's Pacific Northwest coast is calling your name. Ride safe, stay smart, and enjoy the waves!
