Listen Later

Surf's up, wave riders! Here's your coastal forecast for the Pacific Northwest, where the waves are calling and adventure awaits.

We're looking at a classic Pacific Northwest summer morning with mostly cloudy skies and some intriguing surf conditions. Long Beach, Washington is serving up 2 to 4-foot waves with a mixed offshore swell that's got some interesting rhythm - northwest and southwest swells dancing together at different periods.

Temperatures are hovering around a crisp 55 degrees with northwest winds at 11 miles per hour. If you're timing your beach day, catch the morning high tide at 8.5 feet around 3 AM, or the afternoon bump at 6.8 feet around 5 PM.

Moving down the Oregon coastline, Seaside and Cannon Beach are offering slightly smaller 1 to 3-foot waves. Expect similar cloudy conditions with winds gradually picking up throughout the day. The swell mix includes northwest and southwest pulses that'll keep things interesting for intermediate riders.

Manzanita and Rockaway Beach are showing slightly more energy with 2 to 4-foot waves and temperatures climbing into the upper 50s and low 60s. Wind patterns suggest building momentum throughout the day.

Important safety note - these waters demand respect. Cold temperatures, unpredictable sneaker waves, and potential rip currents are always present. Stay alert, watch wave patterns, and never turn your back on the ocean.

Weekend warriors can expect similar conditions on Sunday - slightly smaller waves, partly cloudy skies, and those classic Pacific Northwest vibes. Sunrise around 5:30 AM, sunset near 9 PM gives you plenty of daylight to chase your coastal dreams.

Stay stoked and stay safe out there!
