On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen had an incredible discussion following ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary, Long Gone Summer. We expressed our disappointment with the lack of coverage in regards to Sammy Sosa's MVP campaign during the 1998 MLB season, as the documentary was more centered around Mark McGwire becoming the single-season Home Run King. Even though it was not what most people were expecting in terms of highlighting both players' remarkable seasons, we managed to enjoy the film. Lastly, we were able to appreciate the impact that both players had on the game of baseball during desperate times, and shared our favorite moments throughout the documentary.Be sure to rate and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Play.
