In life, we start our lives by climbing the first mountain.  Often, this climb ends in a disaster or an unsatisfying state of existence.  So, from this wilderness, we decide to change our lives for the better.  Feeling the consequences of our mistakes, we are highly motivated to climb a second mountain and return to our former lives.  But as we return changed men and women, the community from which we left has trouble adjusting to our return.  We must quickly learn forgiveness, apology, making amends, patience, healing broken relationships, biblical parenthood, and so much more.  We may feel that we aren't ready for this new chapter.  This is the long journey of return.
