The two read a few articles and discussed the sociological term, weak tie, which refers to the friends or people you enjoy interacting with infrequently or with less intimacy than your close friends. 

The two share their thoughts on the research-backed benefits of having many weak ties and open up about their personal experiences with either having many or not enough of them in their circles.
