God only promised one opportunity to be saved, only one time will He invite you. We should be thankful for the chastening that God does to us. The chastening indicates that He loves us and wants what's best for us in His image. God shows us patience over and over and yet He doesn't have to. There are times we as Christians choose to go against what God has told us to do. During those times of disobedience God is longsuffering to us. At times we seem to think that if we can't see Him then we won't get caught, just the same as a child acts away from their parents. But God is all knowing and can see everywhere and everything. During those times of disobedience there will come a time where Gods longsuffering will come to an end and He will draw a line in the sand. He will show up when you're least expecting Him and place a stopping point. If you choose to step over the line that He has drawn then you've forced Him to remove the problem. Just as a disobedient child and a loving parent. The child will be warned to obey but there will come a time when the child disobeys to the point that the parent must intervene and remove the child's pleasures. If you're a child of a God and are living in disobedience, it's no surprise when He deals with you. God is raising children and He is trying to grow us into His likeness. If you're walking thru your Christian life and you know God is chastening you, count it a blessing because you're one of His. Gods patiences does and will run out. Don't push Him till His patiences runs out on you.
