The long-suffering of God has been with us since way before we 

were in existence. 

- What is long-suffering, first and foremost?

- Long-suffering is the patient endurance of hardship, provocation, 

or injury without retaliating or giving up hope

- Long-suffering in short is God holding back what we deserve

- And we deserve a lot, if we be honest with ourselves

- We deserve to punished, hated, whooped, and much more

2 Peter 3:9,  

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is 

longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish 

but that all should come to repentance.”
