The ReWire Podcast w/ Ryan Stewman

Longevity Wins Every Single Time | ReWire 1174

Listen Later

I've been in the game for awhile.

It's been over 12 years since I started my journey in this space and I've had quite a few mentors.

They had a lot of wisdom to impart to me and I did exactly what they told me to do every single time.

A few years ago, I had a mentor of mine pull me aside and he was asking about numbers.

So I showed him what I had made that year.

He said, "Damn, you made more money than I did.  How did you do that?"

I told him it was doing the things he taught me a few years earlier.

He was dumbfounded.

The very advice we give others, we often discount for ourselves.

It worked for him, and it worked for me, but he stopped at being consistent with it.

I kept going.

If you are in any space, niche, or industry, whatever you do, DO NOT QUIT.

Consistency and repetitions get rewarded every single time.

Most of those you start with will fall out, drop out, and tap out.

That's where they make the big mistake.

If you're going to win at anything, you have to keep going.

Over time, people will see you stayed in it.

You were consistent.

Persistent.

You have the survival skills to outlast anyone and everyone that comes along.

Most are here for the quick buck.

Wealth is not created that way.

And neither is longevity.

Keep at it.
