Hello Friends and Family! Welcome to the beginning of our celebration of the Christmas season and the birth of Jesus Christ. Our prayer and hope for every one of us is that the services and events we provide during this time will help us focus on the things that are most important. It’s so easy to make Christmas the busiest time of the year and miss out on the One we celebrate.Tday, we’re going to spend our time focusing on the promise given by God through the prophet Isaiah over 2700 years ago. He spoke in a time much darker than almost any in the history of the nation of Israel and gave them a message of hope. He promised that a light would come that would eliminate the darkness. We will also observe a meaningful time of communion today as we remember that Jesus didn’t just come to be born, but He came for a specific reason – to die for all mankind. If you’ve never accepted the offer of forgiveness and new life God makes through Jesus Christ, it’s our prayer that you will do so today and then let this time of communion be a moment where you celebrate the hope you have in Him.If you want some help in focusing on Christmas and what Jesus means, please stop by our Next Step Bookstore and take a look at the books in our Pastor’s Picks section.Celebrating Christmas with you,Pastor Ron
