Drive it! hits the road with a stylish model from that most Italian of brands. Alfa Romeo was founded in 1910 in Milan.
The 6C 2500 dates back to the middle of Alfa's hundred year history. It's a car that combines pre-war engine technology with the aesthetics of the early post-war era. Alfa started producing the 6C series in 1927 and the model was continuously updated until 1953. 6C stands for "sei cilindri" - six cylinders. The one we take for a spin is from 1948 but it already had a 2 and half litre engine and 110 horsepower.
