Looking back at Gawler’s history through the columns of the Bunyip Newspaper with Janette and Kay, returned from her adventures, from Wednesday 2nd August 2023

150 years ago the Bunyip reported on concerns about storing explosives in the township, 100 years ago an unfortunate incident led to a murder charge, 50 years ago land sales in Gawler fetched record sums, 25 years ago anticipation for the annual show is high and 10 years ago a popular local “car yard” is closed.
