• 100 years ago the Bunyip reported on the construction of a locomotive engine,
• 50 years ago there was concern about footballers’ homework,
• 25 years ago work on Hewett school was beginning and
• 10 years ago the paper reported that the King Street Bridge was about to be demolished in preparation for the electrification of the Gawler Rail line.
