When someone does you wrong, does this thought race through your mind, “Oooh they’re gonna get it!” Our inclination may be to seek out vengeance, but as we’ll learn today on Light on the Hill, that’s territory reserved only for God. Pastor James Kaddis opens Exodus chapter 21 where we encounter the eye for the eye, tooth for the tooth passage. But many have totally missed the point. It’s not encouraging vengeance.
